Art Workshops in Newhaven
Since 2018 we’ve provided art workshops, mostly for people disadvantaged through circumstance and who would not normally have access to Art education . We have also worked with Sussex Community Development Association to deliver free visual art events for School Holiday Activity Fund schemes. Some of these workshops were to help people take part in the Newhaven Open Call exhibitions. All images © Newhaven Art Projects

Gary was invited to run a full day workshop in Newhaven. Gary introduced people to his work and the processes involved – the day was full of activity – drawing, painting and printmaking using, as inspiration, the wildlife around the Newhaven coast.
